          The Thirty Club

An organization has been accomplished in the Seventh Ward, 
to be designated the Thirty Club.  It will embrace twenty odd names.  
It is not a political body, but one formed for the mutual improvement 
and the enjoyment of the gentlemen comprising the membership.  

The club members have procured rooms on DeKalb, near Bedford avenue, 
and are now fitting them up for occupancy, so that by the end of 
the present week everything will be in order, and in condition 
for the convenience of its members and for the welcoming of visitors.  

The club held its first meeting last evening, and selected the 
following gentlemen as officers: 
President, H. M. D'WOLFE; 
Vice President, F. S. FOLK; 
Secretary W. A. MAXWELL;
Treasurer, Chris. HORN; 

Board of Trustees -- 
T. S. JAMES, 
Wm. Kuy KENDALL 
G. Taylor TOMPKINS; 
Steward, W. Palmer KENDALL.
